About

Our Story

It all started in 1996.

Rewind to the early 90s when I was only a few years out of high school and looking for a job. Next thing you know, I’m answering an ad in the newspaper and had a job, as a window cleaner. The owners were really knowledgeable of their trade and taught me so much over the years. So when one of them suggested I start my own company, I had plenty of confidence to do so and it’s exactly what I did. Although starting my own business was a little stressful, I figured I had nothing to lose and everything to gain. So I was all in and in 1996 All-Clean was born. I immediately started building a client base through connections I had made over the years as well as through the Yellow Pages.

Fast forward to 2020 when a pandemic changed the landscape of many businesses and lives in general. At that point I had been in business for 24 years and was hopeful that although the world seemed to come to a screeching halt, I’d perservere and stay in business. As the year went on, clients didn’t want me in their homes. Businesses were shutting down and everyone seemed reluctant to spend their money on the luxury of window cleaning. I began to become concerned about being able to sustain a profitable company. Next thing I knew, there was a huge initiative for communities to help small business and amazingly, so many of my friends did just that! I felt beyond fortunate as many reached out to schedule cleaning, thereby keeping my small business afloat.

Rewind back to the early 2000s and although my company was still very new, it was slowly growing and becoming profitable due to repeat customers, referrals, and the Yellow Pages. Now there’s not too much glory in window cleaning but the satisfaction I got from completing a job, the appreciation from satisfied customers, and of course pay day, made it all worthwhile. As the years went on, business had it’s ups and downs and the growth of my business was slow. It was even stagnant at times but I kept at it. My daughters were born in 1999 and 2001, giving me plenty of motivation to succeed.

Fast forward to 2021 and not only have my daughters grown, but so has my business. With the addition of power washing and the trailer I’ve purchased, my company is expanding.

As I write this today in the spring of 2022, business is on the rise thanks to the additional services I now offer. They include power washing, solar panel and skylight cleaning, patio furniture cleaning. I also clean mirrors, light fixtures, and so much more! And of course window cleaning, how it all started.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t thank my customers, where would I be without them? I am never more appreciative and so stoked they can now have one company providing them with so many different services. In all honesty, owning a window cleaning and power washing company wasn’t my lifelong dream and if I had to do it all over again, I would have joined the military or gone into law enforcement. However, I am happy to say that I am making the most of the choices I made (cards I dealt myself).
